10:33 AM A step ahead of her hubby
The age-old belief that man needs to be superior to his woman is any relationship is certainly being disproved by the leading ladies of B-town. Tinsel town is huge, glamorous and independent which provides equal opportunity to both the genders. When you look at the drastic change in the conventional role of women, one will realize the change not only on-screen but also off-screen. There are ladies who are leading as compared to their better halves. Powerful roles, awards, international recognition are not only a husband’s forte anymore. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan will occupy one of the prominent positions when it comes to a stronger woman in a relationship. Abhishek till now is struggling to live up to the expectations of people and desperately waiting for a hit. Ash is the face of many international brands and widely displaying prowess and aspiration on International level. Where as, Abhishek's identity is restricted as Amitabh Bachchan’s son. Aishwarya and Abhishek’s Raavan bombed at box-office but Ash managed to cover it up with Robot’s success and now she can count on one of the anticipated film Guzaarish. Ash won the Miss World title in 1994 grabbed many offers in Bollywood. Even at 37 and the marriage of more than three years, she still manages to share the screen with superstars like Rajinikanth and Hrithik Roshan. Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder made enough news when they decided to get married. The choreographer is eight years older to Shirish who is still not as famous as his wife but that seems to hardly bother the couple. Farah is an established choreographer, successful director and the alpha woman also absorbs an independent image to her hubby. It’s no surprise that they are into a peaceful married life just because of zero insecurities and lots of understanding. Malaika Arora Khan and Arbaaz Khan seems two different personalities altogether, one overpowering than the other. She is the sex symbol of tinsel town and he is the timid better half. Malaika is an independent woman who manages well both her career and personal life but Arbaaz didn’t do well as an actor. Though Dabangg was produced by Arbaaz and he was also a part of the flick but Munni walked away with the cake. Munni Badnaam Hui rocked the nation and Malaika once again was successful to make her strong position on item numbers. She has left a mark with songs like Chaiya Chaiya from Dil Se and Hoth Rasile from Welcome. The woman again hogs the limelight in this relation yet they are happily married. On the contrary, Arbaaz is always seen supporting her. Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi started their career with films and gradually small screen. Archana became a TV anchor part of some popular shows like Shrimaan Shrimati and many more. She is noted in Comedy Circus to laugh really loud. Parmeet was out of scene for many years and made his debut as director with Yash Raj’s Badmaash Company but he failed to create magic on box office. He is still known as Archana Puran Singh’s husband. Though many women in Bollywood are more successful and all their female fans will definitely take pride in accepting it. But certainly it wouldn’t have been possible without their man supporting them. We just adore the way the celebrities have taken their marriage, relations. So, now we can also rephrase the saying- Also behind every successful woman there is a man!
