Dhobi Ghat is directorial debut of Kiran Rao and Aamir and Prateek Babbar are in the lead roles. Mrs. Aamir Khan emerged all alone at the launch of first look of Dhobi Ghat. When Kiran was asked about Aamir Khan, she said, "I want my recognition as a film maker, till now you people know me as Mrs. Aamir Khan, so I decided to come alone.”

Dhobi Ghat is a story about four characters in city of Mumbai. The movie has already managed to reach the International film festivals and will be releasing on Jan 21.
