Abhishek's Karva Chauth for Ash!
After the pre Karva Chauth bash at Jalsa, Bachchan bahu Aishwayra observed Karvachauth for Abhishek. All the ladies including Jaya Bachchan and daughter Shweta Nanda dressed in their bridal avatar for this big celebration. Interestingly, Abhishek too kept a fast for Ash while Big B failed to fast because of his shooting!

First Karvachauth - Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra
A South Indian married to a Punjabi, Shilpa Shetty celebrated her first Karva Chauth by keeping a fast for hubby Raj Kundra. Shilpa looked fabulous in a blue sari during her Karva Chauth puja.

"I am a South Indian married to a Punjabi, all this is so new to me but my hubby's fasting too to give me company. This is my first Karva Chauth. It's not the food I crave, just water," she quipped.

Raveena celebrates Karva Chauth at David Dhawan's bash
Dressed in a green salwar, wedding chudas (Red bangles) and sindoor Raveena did all the shringar on this auspicious day. Raveena fasted for hubby Anil Thadani. Speaking about it Raveena said, "This is the only day when you get to wear your bridal dress or dress like a bride again. I make it a point to wear my wedding chudas (bangles) for about a month every year starting for the day of Karva Chauth."

Akki-Twinkle celebrates 'blast before the fast'
Twinkle Khanna along with hubby Akshay were perfect hosts for a Karva Chauth bash called 'blast before the fast' thrown by her sister in law Alka Bhatia. Twinkle who is not so religious informs that she follows Karva Chauth religiously.

Karva Chauth on ad set for Maddy, wife
R Madhavan got a surprise on the set of a commercial shoot in London when he saw his wife there. Busy shooting, Madhavan got late in the evening thus his wife, who was fasting, reached on the sets to do the puja together. When asked about it, he said, "I was shooting for 'Wagon R' so she came to the set after seeing the moon and I fed her."
