Bugatti Automobiles has launched its super car Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport with price tag of Rs. 16 crores in India . The car has become the most expensive car sold in the country now. Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport can run at a top speed of 407 km per hour and an acceleration of 0-100 km in 2.7 seconds. The car will be distributed by Exclusive Motors in India. "The price of the car will be subject to foreign exchange fluctuations and the levels of customisation the customer demands , " said Satya Bagla , MD , Exclusive Motors. "The Bugatti Veyron is four times more expensive than other luxury cars currently being sold in India. We have received enquiries and are testing customer response , " he added. "The luxury car market in India is growing at 25 per cent every year. The opportunity for such cars is good , " said Guy Caquelin , Sales Manager , Bugatti Automobiles. The car is powered by an eight-litre engine with 16 cylinders and is assembled by hand at Bugatti's headquarters at Molsheim in France.
