Dell has added 14 and 15-inch variants to its XPS range for notebooks. Dell has opted for a 3D technology centric theme for the new laptops; as the variants are all 3D TV ready and come stock with Nvidia's 3DTV Play software which allows 3D playback on 3D capable TVs in addition to 3D gaming support. The laptops feature aluminium finish on the display back and the palm rest. At the heart of the laptops lie a range of Core i-series of processors.
The laptops feature JBL speakers with Waves MaxxAudio 3 audio processing technology. The 15-inch model even comes with 12 watt subwoofers and a total audio output of 22 watt. The variants come with graphics card in the range of Optimus equipped Nvidia GeForce 400 series graphics solutions with 1GB to 3GB dedicated memory. Dell also offers Blu-ray drive option for the range of 3D capable laptops. The integrated webcams are capable of HD video streaming, which is pretty moot considering the bandwidth of our mobile internet connections. The starting prices of the 14 and 15-inch models are Rs. 44,900 and Rs. 45,900 respectively.
