Rome wasn't built in a day! You might've heard this several times. Soon, you'll actually get to experience what that proverb exactly means. Zynga, the creators of massively popular online games like FarmVille and Mafia Wars, have now launched a new game CityVille. This new game is centered at creating a dream city from ground up. Of course you'll get to see the features from FarmVille and FrontierVille in this game. Oh wait! We already have EA's Sim City games online on the desktop web browser as well in the Apple App Store. Social game maker Zynga will introduce the beta of CityVille game soon in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish languages on Facebook. CityVille comes with new features that allow players to build a city, interact with friends' cities, and build franchises with the help of their friends. For this game, Zynga has introduced 3D-rendered buildings and characters. Sean Kelly, GM of CityVille game, says, CityVille is where Monopoly meets Main Street. CityVille does have features from EA's Sim City and Social City on Facebook. Starting off as a City Planner, you are supposed to guide the city and turn it into a thriving metropolis. You'll have to build a city from ground up and players can manually expand their land plots. Build franchises and help run the franchises. So if you've built a city, you can ask your friends help you run shops and other services to eventually make it bloom. Users will have to keep the farming and harvesting for running the restaurants efficiently. Also, goods need to be traded from one city to another. Collectibles and unlockables would be the exclusivity of this game and obtained only after you achieve certain goals make better buildings and run city better. In short, you'll have to build a city, run it, get help to run it, employ economics and eventually turn a small land into a thriving city. So what are you going to build? Sheldonopolis? We already have Sims City and now with CityVille, social gamers will get the experience of running their own city or franchise in a FarmVille style.
