Avid online shoppers can have a field day today as Cyber Monday is when several online retailers offer hefty discounts on their select product. However, the challenging part here is to find the best deals that suit your budget.

We do know that Cyber Monday is purely meant and targeted at US nationals, but on Black Friday last week, my colleagues and I were able to get some decent deals. We asked one of our teammates, who was in US, to pick up goodies for us.

If you don't know what you want to buy and where you wish to buy it from, then you can always check out the different websites offering Cyber Monday deals. However, before you make any purchases do take note of the following points.

Make purchases only from the original sites offering deals and not third-party sites. Read the terms and conditions related to shipping and returns to avoid paying extra. Many might choose the Free Shipping option and hence be ready to receive your parcel one or two days late. Several banks allow creating a Virtual Credit Card (limited period Credit Card) in case you don't want to reveal your actual credit/debit card details to other websites. For Payments, make user secured gateways like Paypal. If you live outside US, do check out the international shipping charges. You can also get it shipped to a friend/relative/colleague who is in the US.
