Ford's December Dhamaal to continue for 10 days
Ford India's "December Dhamaal” unique sales promotion in the domestic automobile market started its 10 day sales with a brand new concept of 'Midnight Sale' in its dealerships pan India. The company has introduced this unique concept to increase the sales of company.
In sales offer, the consumers will be welcomed from 8 am till 12 pm only on 4th December, Saturday. The newly designed programme is profitable for the buyer who wish to buy the Ford cars.
The new marketing promotion idea from Ford's stable wishes to attract the buyers those who cannot take time out from their busy schedules to buy their favourite car models of Ford. The Midnight Sale, will ensure to explain the customers about the features of Ford cars and will help them in purchase.
Nigel Wark, Executive Director, Marketing, Sales & Service of Ford India, said that, Ford India, the company aims to thank the buyers for their enthusiasm on its products and making buyer feel special.
The American car company, is offering new opportunity by providing special interest rates and saving heavily on its cars. The automobile company provides opportunity to save up to Rs 70,000 on Ford Ikon and Rs 71,000 on Ford Fiesta. On the hatchback Ford Figo and on the Stylish SUV Ford Endeavour interest rate of 8 per cent is being offered.
Besides, such great discount offers the buyers had a chance to win prices of Rs 1 crore on 4th of December. The company has decided that, those customers decided to book their favourite Ford car in the mid night sale, will SMS a hidden code which will be provided at the dealership and can win exciting gifts such as Refrigerator, LCDs, mobile phone and DVD players.
Mr Wark added that, the Midnight Sale will let the dealers open their showrooms till 12 pm which will attract the customers and provide them with great offers on Ford cars. He added that, it is a token of thanks to its customers. It is also happening for the first time in India and the company looks forward to capture the excitement on customers faces.
In this new marketing strategy, the showrooms will be decorated and also will include playful things for customers such as exciting games, putting mehandi, juggling show and more.
Ford in India accounted to triple growth in its sales graph by 198 per cent over November 2009. In November, the company has witnessed a combined sale of 7,504 units which was only 2,520 units in 2009 November.
Ford Figo, the hatchback played the righteous part in the company's growth this year by selling 58,000 cars since its launch in March. The company exports the car in Nepal and South Africa and in future will explore 48 new markets.
The American auto company will expand on its service and sales network pan India. The Ford's dealers have increased to be more than 170 spread over 100 cities in India.
