Google has finally brought mobile editing of Google Documents for Android and Apple iOS platforms. This was a long due feature that would certainly be adopted by avid mobile users for editing Google Docs. Based on Google's new document editor, Google Docs would certainly let you make notes or lists while you're on the move. Andrew Grieve, a software engineer at Google, posted a note on the official Google Mobile blot stating that the new documents editor now supports editing on your mobile browser. Google would be rolling this out over the next few days. To get stated all you have to do is visit http://docs.google.com from your mobile web browser of Android or iOS device. Select the document you wish to edit or create a new document and start editing it. The Edit button activates the mobile editor and if you've a good mobile connection, then it will let you edit your documents in such a way that you have a near real-time experience. The best part is you can also update your Google Spreadsheets which could be shared amongst several users. Initially, the mobile editing for Google Docs would be rolled out only in English for Android 2.2 Froyo and iOS 3.0 or higher running devices.
