 Sanjay Leela Bhansali seems to have learnt from his past experience. His directorial venture ‘Guzaarish’ is all slated to release this November 19th and Sanjay has decided to keep away with a premiere of the film. Or at least it won’t be on a grand scale like he did it at the time of his last film Saawariya. The premiere of 'Guzaarish' will be held tonight and only 30 particular guests have been invited for the event. Supposedly, this has been done to limit all the unfavorable comments that work against the film by SMS and during film premiere thus affecting the film’s fate. Two years back, Sanjay had a very bad experience at the premiere of his film Saawariya. Few VIPs who were invited to the premiere SMSed bulk messages against the film hours just before its release. Since 'Saawariya' premiere took place two nights before its public release, the damage done was beyond repair. It was then and there that Sanjay decided to never have a premiere of any of his film at this scale. Now when 'Guzaarish' is all set to hit the screen, Sanjay had been extra careful to his words and organized the screening of the film for cast members and their families on Monday night. After the screening, the director somehow convinced himself to show the film to a few chosen ones. Those who have received the invitation from Bhansali are Hrithik’s parents Pinky and Rakesh Roshan, Bachchans, Rekha, Shabana and Javed Akhtar, Ranbir Kapoor,Priyanka Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Shahrukh and Gauri Khan, Karan Johar, Ashutosh Gowariker and Rakeysh Mehra. | |
