 The finale of UTV Indiagames' Parle G Cyber Open saw a grand closing ceremony with the star of the critically acclaimed film Udaan, Rajat Barmecha, felicitating the winners of the tournament. The competition was held at Sobo Central, Mumbai with finalists from six cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai battling it out to win the UTV Indiagames' Parle G Cyber Open titles.
The tennis tournament, which kick-started on November 20, saw a good response with a whopping one million game plays in all. The tournament concluded with Barmecha announcing the winners for both online (PC) and offline Wii console competition. The offline winner won a trip to Hong Kong's Disneyland and the online winner won a Wii console. Apart from that, the runners up for both online and offline were rewarded with gameboy units. " this tournament has helped us create a platform for the age group of 9-14 years to showcase their gaming skills at such a young age. Considering the remarkable response we received from both online and offline platforms right from day one, we plan to make the Tennis Cyber Open tournament an annual property with Parle G as our partner" said Vishal Gondal, CEO UTV Indiagames. | |
