There's no doubt about the fact that Bollywood still applies the copy-paste formula in movies.
It seems that Yash Raj Films also have resorted to simple replication of a foreign script.
Reportedly, 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' which happens to be a Yash Raj production has a script very similar to a Spanish movie titled, 'My Brother's Wife'.
'My Brother's Wife' stars Barbara Mori and will be releasing in India this month while the Katrina Kaif, Imran Khan starrer is 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' is under production these days.
Barbara's 'My Brother's Wife' deals with the disloyal affair of a woman with her husband's brother.
On the other hand Kat's 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan' portrays the story of guy who falls for his brother's fiancé.
A source said that even though both the movies have almost similar scripts, YRF doesn’t believe that Barbara's film is a risk to Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. It is primarily because the Kat-Imran starrer has a more romantic tone than an adult one.
However, the distributors of Barbara's 'My Brother's Wife' have decided to name the Mori film as 'A Beautiful Wife' owing to the almost similar title to that of 'Mere Brother Ki Dulhan'.
Yash Raj spokesperson rebuffed any similarities between the two movies.
