In the race to capture the market, the auto giant is planning to revamp Volkswagen Vento. By next year, the company wishes to introduce, the new model of Volkswagen Vento in 1.4 litre petrol engine which will be less powerful than the current one. This new 1.4 litre petro engine is manufactured to gel with the low grade fuels. As the engine will be small, it is anticipated to be competitive with better fuel efficiency. The smaller engine will have the capacity to produce 84 hp and 132 Nm torque. As per the sources, the new model will be Rs 35k to Rs 65k below than the Volkswagen Vento 1.6 diesel variant. The new Volkswagen Vento share its manufacturing platform with cars like the all new Chevrolet Aveo, Tata Manza, Maruti Swift Dzire. These cars all have the very famous V platform in common. This car may prove to be a nightmare for its rivals as the new petrol version looks promising with greater fuel efficiency and is priced economically.
