 Electronic Arts Mobile and Harmonix have joined hands to release the new Rock Band Reloaded game app for Apple iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices. This is a special iPad-only version developed by EA Mobile and Harmonix that allows you to use a split-screen action. Rock Band Reloaded for iPhone and iPod touch devices is available for $4.99 (iTunes link) while the iPad exclusive version is available for $9.99 (iTunes Link) from the Apple App Store.
Music frenzy folks can enjoy jamming on 20 free music tracks of popular music bands such as 3 Doors Down, Nine Inch Nails, Megadeth, No Doubt, Alice in Chains, Nirvana and more. This iOS version of Rock Band includes voice recognition that requires an external mic for second and third generation iPod touch. Due to hardware limitations, the first generation iPod touch and iPhone owners will have to use a headset with mic to make the best of the vocals recognition feature. By adding vocals to the game, EA Mobile-Harmonix suggests you to add "5th way to play" to go beyond the regular game play.
Locations of up to 6 cities and 36 events have been added in the World Tour. For better viewing, a new Landscape mode has been added.
