 Shreyas Talpade, who burst people into laughter after he essayed the role of a stammer, has reportedly invited the wrath of The Indian Stammering Association (TISA), based in Dehradun. As reports say, TISA has sent a legal notice to the producers of the film accusing them of mocking people who stammer. In the film, Shreyas plays the character who stammers while others, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemu and Arshad Warsi constantly pokes fun at him. The association is aflame with anger over it and has asked the filmmakers to delete such scenes where the character stammers. The producers are in fix now as the film has already released a week ago and according to them it will be unfeasible to remove or delete the scenes. So, they are planning to respond to the notice sent to them by the Uttrakhand court. When asked, the spokeperson for Shri Ashtavinayak Cinevision confirmed the reports and said that they haven’t tried to put down any person with a physical disability. The film is just a source of entertainment and should be taken as same. | |
