Volkwagen, one of largest auto mobile manufacturers in the world is well known for its products, quality and customer satisfaction. Volkswagen, abbreviated as VW, means "People's Car” in German language which it truly reflects time and again. As per the stats, the German Manufacturer's stands on the first position in Europe having 20 per cent of the share in market, and world wide the company is on the third position as the biggest car manufacturer.

Volkswagen one of the biggest in the auto industry is not happy with the position it is at and has extensive plans to establish itself in the market by 2018. The company has aggressive policies and strategies and is focusing on its goals of 2018.

In the league of promoting its cars, Volkswagen has always come up with innovative ideas, this time the auto giants, have come up with creative and new idea to sell its cars. The ideas are simple, weired and creative such as 'Talking Newspsper' if anyone remembers. When the campaign was on there were loads of text messages from the government authority that its alright to open and read newspapers.

The German mind have come with another creation of the all new Volkswagen Jetta. It starts with, the new car which is covered, is liked so much by the owner so much that he did not wish to open it. The ads of VW are simple yet very creative and effective.


Volkswagen, in its desire to achive a huge chunk of the market as mentioned above has begun working on its plan and strategies. India and China are the promising South Asian auto market which are sure to revive the recession hit global market. These markets are showing remarkable growth. China is proving to be pious destination for the world auto market as the demand is increasing with the market scoring high. With the Indian market, it is in the making of a pious land for the world auto market. However, the lacking is being observed in the higher demand, capacity of purchasing, ever fluctuating prices of raw materials and other standards in making.

Well the Whirlpool of demands has increased in the Indian market by 22 per cent which will accelerate in the coming years, as per the industry sources. Currently, Volkswagen has a good share in the market but to make it big, the company needs to spread themselves in the Indian auto mobile market. Currently, the company has 150 dealerships which they are planning to expand to 1,000 in the coming years and are also coming with products which will fill its white space. Volkswagen has also planned to make itself more closer to the customer and know their preferences.
