Western Digital, maker of the popular WD TV media player, has launched a new product in this line in India called the WD TV Live Hub. This is a media center with 1TB in-built storage, which can stream your personal media in Full-HD 1080p. Basically, the user can play all his personal media on any screen at home.

As with previous versions, WD TV Live Hub can play almost every media file type, including popular formats such as MKV, MP4 and MOV. Being the first in the series to sport any internal storage, the 1TB capacity provides for ample storage to centralize your digital media from multiple sources for smooth and glitch-free playback of even the highest resolution videos. You can easily transfer digital media from your computer on the network, an external drive, thumb drives, camcorders, or cameras connected to the USB port of the Hub to the internal storage


Other key features of WD TV Live Hub media center include:

WD TV Live Hub will be available in India from the end of December 2010 for a surprisingly low price of just Rs.9,999 and will come with a 2-year limited warranty.
