That customs and celebrations across the world can either be so different from each other or bear a strong similarity to each other are vividly illustrated in this interesting collection of visuals.

 

Holi in Tomatina style
Farhan Akhtar, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif and Abhay Deol played Holi in Spanish style on the sets of 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' in Spain. Instead of colours, the crew played with tomato puree made from 16 tonnes of tomatoes specially flown from Portugal. Spaniards celebrate a festival called Tomatina twice a year with tomato puree, very similar to Holi.
