Today’s hectic daily schedule causes number of ailments and the backache is one amongst them. For relief from back pain try the ‘Ardh Shalbhasana’ Sequence: 1. Lie down with face downwards and chin on the floor 2. Keep the arms below thighs 3. Inhale and lift the right leg upwards with the help of palm, avoid knee bending. 4. Retain the pose for 10 to 30 seconds and return to starting position while exhaling 5. Repeat the pose with other leg 6. Practice this asana 5 times and then relax. Benefits: The asana is quite beneficial in lumbago and rheumatic pain in the lower spinal area. It also reduces fat from hip, waist and abdomen. |
