After actor Akshay Kumar walked the ramp with intellectually challenged kids last month, actress Dia Mirza has now come out to support special children.

The 'Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein' star was in the capital last night at a fashion show organised by NGO Tamanna to promote the cause of differently abled children.

Designers like J J Vallaya, Satya Paul, Meera & Muzaffar Ali and Malini Ramani came forward to design clothes for the children, who shared the ramp with celebs including veteran actress Sushma Seth, singers Anamika and Shibani Kashyap.

When asked how celeb endorsements help such a cause, Dia said, "So many celebrity designers have come on board, I am here, and if our voice can make a difference to it then why not?"

The actress has been widely associated with social causes like creating awareness about AIDS, Green Earth, and organizations like CRY and PETA.
