Himachal's new coffee table book

Buoyed by encouraging response to the first Coffee Table book "Har Ghar Kuchh Kahta Hai" depicting the history of heritage buildings of Shimla, the Himachal Pradesh tourism department is bringing out another such book covering the heritage buildings of the entire state.
The book covers about 90 buildings associated with great people or historic events or having heritage or archaeological importance.
About 250 pictures of such heritage and historical buildings have also been included in the book.
Arun Sharma, Director of Tourism and Civil Aviation, said the book was "unique" in many respects besides being a rare collection of exquisite photographs.
A lot of research has been done in collecting and compiling the information, he added.
The book would be released by Chief Minister Prem kumar Dhumal at Dharamasala during the winter session of the assembly on December 8
