Practise “Supt-Padangusthasana” to eliminate stomach disorders
 

Imbalanced diet and stressful daily routine induces several abdominal disorders like constipation, indigestion and acidity. However, yoga suggests various asanas to get rid of stomach ailments, out of this Supt-Padangushthasana (toe-finger pose) is said to be quite effective.
Sequence:
1. Lie supine on a mat, keeping legs together and palms resting at the side of waist.
2. Now exhale and slowly raise the right leg till it makes a right angle with the body.
3. Hold the toes of the raised leg with fingers of the right arm and retain the pose for few seconds.
4. Inhale and slowly return to the normal position.
5. Repeat the asana with the left leg.
6. Repeat the posture four times with each leg.
Benefits:
1. Regular practice of ‘toe-finger’ pose eliminates number of stomach disorders.
2. The umbilicus is also set in the right position by practicing the asana.
3. The asana activates and energizes pancreas, gal bladder and spleen
