A west directed plot is one that has a pathway facing west. Following vaastu for such plots is considered beneficial. These guidelines are as follows:
-A high boundary wall in the west direction is favourable.
-When the main building of a house is constructed adjacent to the main entry gate is auspicious.
-All doors of the house should be west facing.
-It is auspicious and advantageous to plant trees in the west direction of the house.
-Never construct an underground water tank or septic tank in the west direction.
