Method of performing the 'asana': -Lie on your stomach and keep normal breathing. -Lift your waist part gradually and try to bring the head and legs closer. Keep the sole and head touching the floor. -Now place your palms on respective knees. -Retain the posture for a minimum 10 to 30 seconds. Benefits of the 'asana': -This asana gives relief in all sorts of mental unrest and disorders. -It sharpens the mind. -The asana gives strength and flexibility to the waist area including the spine. -It energises the whole body and nervous system. |
