 All of us, while constructing our Dream house, endure lots of pain so that it should look awesome and extremely good to attract every passer-by’s attention. No doubt, there are houses which do attract us and we find ourselves glued to it with a great appreciation for its architecture and paraphernalia. But with all its elevated beauty and grandeur, our eyes also get stuck to a round, black colored structure--an earthen pot which looms large at one of the corners of the roof. One wonders as to what role this black pot has to play while hanging at the top? The simple reason behind this belief is that the black pot protects the house from evil eyes. As it is said that if the house is struck by an ominous glance then it can generate inauspicious and unfavorable situations in the family that can lead to any untoward incident. The black pot is said to have the power to annihilate every evil effect caused by the jealous on-lookers and saves the house and the dwellers from their evil |
