According to Vaastu Shastra:
- Electric meter, generator, invertors are to be installed in the south-east quarter of the house or else you can fix them in the north-west corner.
- Set the electric meter in the same direction that the main entrance door has been constructed.
- Fix the switch board on the right side of the entrance door.
- Repair the worn-out electric fittings and fixtures from time to time.
