 It is well known that as soon as the rites and rituals of worshipping deities are completed, to offer our respects we take the rounds of the idols/temple. All our religious scriptures have given great importance to this kind of reverential salutation made by going round the idols as they consider inevitable and inseparable ritual, for it helps in assembling imperishable blessings in the form of propitious luck and merits and destroys the ill-effects caused by our sinful deeds. When the religious ceremony of worshipping Gods and Goddesses reaches to its completion, the entire ambience is charged with positive energy and divine powers, casting such magical effect that all our worries, anxieties, melancholic thoughts disappear in the oblivion and our ever fleeting and transient mind comes to complete rest and enjoys the bliss of tranquility. In such reverential atmosphere our devotion reaches to such heights where we begin to realize the presence of All-Pervading Soul and instantly and inadvertently a feeling of oneness creeps inside us. |
