 As per the tradition, after following all rites and rituals of worshipping Gods and Goddess, the environment of the temple as well as around the idols, gets infused with positive, pious and sacred vibrations and in order to imbibe these positive charges, every one present in the temple goes round the idol/temple. Let us see how many rounds one can take - 1. Lord Shiva: ½ round 2. Goddesses: 3 rounds 3. Lord Vishnu and all of his incarnations: 4 rounds 4. Lord Ganesha and Lord Hanuman: 3 rounds But one has to follow certain dictums while going round the idols of Gods and Goddesses like: 1. Observe silence while performing sacred rounds. 2. Keep your mind focused. 3. Be in a state of meditation while taking rounds. 4. Always take one full circle of the idol. Do not take a break in between. |
